Sweet Ellie

It was mid-September and fall was just beginning, but it looked like spring when I met with Connie her husband Brian, their daughter Ellie, and Connie’s twin sister Laura. We went to the botanical gardens at Tilden Park in Berkeley where there were lots of fun nooks and crannies to shoot, including the redwood grove that reminded Brian of his roots in the Northwest. They are such a beautiful family- and couldn’t Connie and Laura be models? Oh that’s right, they said they had dabbled in it together at one time. It’s easy to see why.

Conlins on Carmel Beach

This family session was a lot of fun and just seemed to fly by. This is the second time I’ve had the opportunity to document Doug, Traci, and their girls. (The first time was shortly after their second was born: www.lindseyklinger.com/2010/03/baby-molly ) Not only are they photogenic, they’re also one of the nicest families you could meet. Even though it was a more recent session, and I have some others done earlier that I would like to share, I wanted to get this one up before the Christmas season passes us by. Traci brought those adorable candy canes and packages herself, by the way. Happy Holidays!

And the Bride Wore Purple

This was such a intimate and adorable wedding on a special date- who could forget an anniversary on 10/10/10? I loved all the details created by the bride, Sachi, and her groom, Robin, and their friends. The flowers and table arrangements were done by friends, and Sachi and Robin made the pomegranate jelly they gave as a favor. Their cake was a stack of pancakes! The ceremony and reception were both held at the restaurant, Michael’s on Main in Soquel. The whole thing was a lot of fun! I was so honored to be there.
