Baby Mia
I really love so many of the shots from this session. This great little family was just settling into their new home when these photos were taken. It was really fun to share in the joy of all that newness.

Hi I'm Lindsey, a Monterey Bay Area-based wedding, portrait, and commercial photographer.

Jolene’s Baby Belly
I spent a lively morning with Jolene, Eliza, and the quiet company of baby-to-be. I couldn’t resist photographing their labrador as well, who was such a gentle creature as you might decipher. I’m looking forward to photographing the whole family in November, along with the new baby of course.
While I’m on the topic, if you are interested in a family photo session with me in time for holiday cards, please let me know. The calendar is filling up fast! Separate from that I will be holding another portrait event at Sweet Child of Mine children’s boutique in Monterey, November 19th and 20th, 10:30 to 2:00. Those will be studio style mini-sessions lasting about 10 minutes each. There is no sitting fee. Call or email me soon to get in on that!
And now, Jolene’s beautiful baby belly!
My Foray into Advertising
Check out my new postcard! I’ve just started handing it out and I wanted to put it up here for all those people who might not stumble on to one. Thanks to all those who agreed to be pictured on the card, including my own son who didn’t get much say in the matter- although he does refer to it as “my postcard,” so I guess he’s OK with it. Please scroll down to the next blog post to see a few photos of the wedding couple featured on the card.
Corkie the Cutey
Is the title too much? Sorry, but it’s true! This dog is 15 1/2 years old and has more spunk per square inch than a lot of dogs half her age. She has a little trouble getting around these days, but doesn’t let that stop her. Chicken scraps are her passion, but her owners Jan and Mike are the loves of her life. I think the feeling is mutual.
