Quiet Morning

These are my favorite mornings. We’ll get there when we get there, and in the meantime let’s color and eat cereal and just enjoy the fact that the sun is shining in Pacific Grove.

Getting a Slow Start

Lindsey Klinger Photography is Out of the Office

Well, the Klingers are headed to lake Temagami in the Canadian north woods for a little adventure and family time; fishing, cooking by the fire, swimming off the dock, and hopefully not getting bitten by too many mosquitoes. So what is the fabric for? I like to have a little project whenever we go to the cabin and this year I’m making a quilt for my 3-year old! I’ve never made a quilt before and I have to say I’m really looking forward to it. I went a little crazy at the fabric store during their 1-dollar a yard sale. Needless to say I have plenty to work with. Hopefully I’ll have some results to show you soon. And maybe some fun vacation pictures, too.

I will be back in the office on July 27th, and email and voicemail coverage will be spotty if at all while I’m away. So, if you’re trying to reach me I can’t guarantee a reply until I get back.

Mini Show &  Mini Sessions at Sweet Child of Mine!

I am happy to announce that I have a selection of photographs on display at Sweet Child of Mine children’s boutique, as well as an upcoming event. Sweet Child of Mine owners Doreen and her husband Avner have generously offered to host my first “Photo Days” event. This Friday and Saturday June 4th & 5th from 10:30 to 12:30 I’ll be giving free 10-minute mini-sessions for kids and babies. After your session, photos will be available for private viewing and purchase in my online proofing gallery where you can peruse the many great offerings such as fine art prints, canvas, and other products.

I’m so excited and have been looking forward to doing this for a while. I am asking those interested to reserve a space so that I have enough time to spend with each subject. There are still a few spaces left, but the schedule is filling up fast- so if you would like to bring your child in for portraits, have a look at my display, and check out the fantastic pre-loved and new kids clothes at Sweet Child of Mine (299 Webster Street, Monterey) call or email me soon! Welcome Spring!

There are so many beautiful little gardens tucked in to the historic adobes in Monterey. I have several favorites I like to visit year round, but they become a special treat when spring arrives. Though lovingly kept- some of these gardens seem to be seldom visited- so ducking into one can be like entering a secret garden. Enjoy!
