Monterey Coast Brewing not only brews their own beers, they also have a friendly staff, serve delicious food and they have a nice banquet room in the back of the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, yet still a great place to hang out with friends and have a locally brewed beer- my favorite? The sampler- a set of seven distinctly different flavors all in a row, so I don’t have to decide. Monterey Coast Brewing is located at 165 Main Street in Salinas, near the Steinbeck Center.

I’ve had a lot of fun lately taking photos at a wonderful restaurant in Carmel called Bistro 211. The chef, owner, and very cool guy, Jon Magnusson often hosts top-notch musical guests at his restaurant so you get to eat delicious food and listen to beautiful music at the same time.
