Allison & Jim Married

Allison & Jim got married at the beautiful Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley. After the ceremony they treated their guests to a delicious multi-course, gourmet dinner, which was prepped in the same room it was served. The toasts were lovely, the night was lovely, and the bride and groom were both radiant.

Fairytale Wedding

Gorgeous and accomplished Karoline and courageous, handsome Francis were married at Old Saint Mary’s in San Francisco. Karoline got ready at the Marine’s Memorial Club where the reception was also held. It was such a beautiful wedding and such an honor for me to participate. I looked around at all the men in uniform and heard of their service overseas and thought to myself “And I’m just a photographer!” I was so humbled by the commitment they make to our country. Aside from all that it was a really fun party with their great group of family and friends.

Getting Gussied Up

I’ve been friends with Erika and Mike since High School, and so when Erika asked me to photograph the “getting ready” portion of her wedding, I was excited to do it. Erika and Mike’s love story has been one of here and there- it began in High School, continued in college and then then onto their lives in San Francisco- a place that perfectly fits their personalities. So, photographing Erika as she prepared for one of the biggest days of her life was an honor. Not only did I get to be with her during that special time, but since she had another photographer for the wedding and reception, I got to enjoy myself as a guest for the rest of the evening. Of course I couldn’t resist snapping away all night, and I included some of those shots here as well. And the wedding was a blast! Yes, that is a team of break-dancers giving a performance half-way through the reception. It was an unforgettable night.
