Andrea & Channing, Married

Old Whaling Station, Monterey

Maybe it was the fact that this was the first wedding I’ve gotten to photograph at the same place where I got married, maybe it’s because I shot the wedding on my birthday, or maybe it’s because Channing’s family hails from the same area of Eastern Canada where my husband’s family has a cottage, or maybe it’s just because Andrea and Channing are so easy to like, so smart, so photogenic, so friendly, and yes- even a little quirky. (Channing used to be a street magician and put on a little show at the reception. Yes, there were two sets of twins in the wedding party!) Whatever it was, I felt right at home during this beautiful wedding.

The Vargas Family

Medha & Julian Married

Medha and Julian are both full of class and so was their beautiful wedding, but that didn’t keep them or their guests from cutting loose on the dance floor. My kind of people.

Also I get a lot of nice notes from happy clients and I have decided to start sharing some of them here. This is what Medha wrote to me after she and Julian received their images:  “I just wanted you to know, that I/We LOVE our pictures.  You were so amazing to work with and the pictures are awesome.” Such a nice girl! What more can I say?

Medha & Julian- Wedding Rehearsal

Medha & Julian’s wedding rehearsal was a feast for the senses at Pema Osel Ling retreat center. It was the perfect setting to celebrate a thoughtful, gentle, beautiful couple.
